Mrs. Ganiyu Moriliat Morolaun was born on 19th May, 1966 in Ijebu-ode,Ogun-state. She had her primary education at Ansar-deen primary school,Ijebu-Ode from 1972-1976 and Sanni Luba Nursery & Primary School, Ijebu-Ode in 1977, and her secondary education at Ijebu Muslim College, Ijebu-Ode from 1978-1983. She graduated from Ogun State University (presently known as Olabisi Onabanjo University,Ago-Iwoye with Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1991.
Mrs. Ganiyu had a brief working experience with the Ogun State Teaching Service Commission(1993-1994),precisely in Fowoseye Secondary School, Ago-Iwoye.
She joined the Lagos State Civil Service in 1995 as Internal Auditor Grade II.
She had been Head of Internal Audit Unit in the following MDAs;
Lagos State Urban & Regional Planning Board, Ministry of Finance,
Projects’ Financial Management Unit -PFMU (State Treasury Office) - Lagos Metropolitan Development and Governance Project (LMDGP)
Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Housing,
Ministry of Finance (Risk Management Audit Unit) and Ministry of Works and Infrastructure.
Her responsibilities as the Director, PFMU includes ensuring efficient and effective financial management of the World Bank and other Donor Agency assisted project. She coordinates the activities of the Projects Accountants and Projects’ Internal Auditors for effective performance delivery
She has attended several trainings and workshops on the job
