Mr. Ige is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTIN) and Member, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, USA.
He attended Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo, Lagos, and the prestigious University of Ibadan, Oyo State where he studied Accountancy and Master’s degree respectively.
Before his employment by the Lagos State Government in 1997, he worked with Akintola Williams and Company now Akintola Williams and Deloitte Chartered Accountants, Cakasa Nigeria Ltd., and other Banking Institutions in Nigeria.
Ige had earlier served the state as Director of Finance and Accounts and Deputy Director, Financial Information System as a System Administrator.
He has attended several professional courses, retreats, workshops and training programmes locally and overseas.
He is married with children and enjoys reading, singing and cracking jokes.
