Mr. Asegere is a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Taxation, Fellow Association of Certified National Accountants and Member, Nigerian Institute of Management.
He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Ogun State University and Higher National Diploma (Business Administration) from Lagos State Polytechnic.
He has served the State Government as Director of Accounts, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Central Business Districts, Civil Service Pensions Office and Director, State Refund General. He was Council Treasurer and Council Auditor during his engagement with the third tier of Government.
He is responsible among others for coordinating the daily activities in the Accounts Directorate, supervises budget preparation, ensures all books of account are correctly posted. He signs variable cards and ensures that authorised maximum cash balance are not exceeded.
Asegere has attended seminars, workshop and conferences both locally and overseas including International Federation of Accountants Conference, (Malaysia), Accountability and Ethics in Public Service (United Arab Emirate), Journey Towards Public Sector Excellence (Singapore) and Tax Planning and Administration (Nigeria).
He is married with children and enjoys reading and travelling.
